Error in our study includes the proportion of males to females and some people did not know what stem cell research entailed so they probably made uninformed decisions.

We achieved randomness by polling a wide variety of students.

We noticed that females were more democratic than males.

  1. Very interesting how the majority for every demographic was democrat or moderate, not republican, considering we live in a very republican/conservative state. I also like how the "women typically being democratic" was shown in this study, as well. The numbers reflect the statistics, I suppose.

Also interesting how freshmen and juniors are moderate, but sophomores and seniors are democratic. Quite the split, there.

  2. Your data does fit many statistics, but i think that question 2 was the question that couldn't really be interpreted, because nearly every graph all the ideologies, and answer were very close to each other. Also the women streotype of being democratic was shown as Cody said. Your third question was where most of your split happened, which is interesting. One would think that if the third was pretty different then so would be the first. I mean there were differences in the question 1, but question three had some major differences. Also stated by Cody, the fact we live in a Republican state is funny because most of the answers went towards the democratic side of things.

  3. THe data here does not seem to be from our school! what happened to all the Republican votes? The woman stuck too their stereotype. Perhaps the problem with the answers from question 3 are because people didn't know what it was and just went with what they thought would sound the best. I also think that many people regardless of what their ideology support more of middle stance as that is more acceptable in society. It sort of ties to the separation of church and state a little right?

  4. The results, judging from the overall answer choices do make a lot of sense. Just simply going off of question number two, there is a slight higher amount of people that stated that they don't go to church. So, it's understandable why most people ended up being Democratic. I find it funny that you guys said that a few people didn't know what question number three is asking. Actually, it's pretty sad.
